Stop in at Divine Savior Catholic Church @ 9079 Greenback Lane in Orangevale to see us in action most Mondays from 6:30 - 8:00 PM.

Our troop offers an exciting boy-led program backed by the mentoring of adult volunteers. We currently are a troop of about 35 boys attending multiple schools in or near Orangevale and Fair Oaks, and welcome other boys in the area who are interested in joining Boy Scouting.  We are chartered by Divine Savior Catholic Church, but are a multi-denominational troop representing families across many religious affiliations.

We are a boy-led troop.  This
means YOUTH MEMBERS lead the planning, decision making and implementation regarding scout meetings, trip destinations, program ideas, and camp/meeting activities.  The troop is organized into patrols -- groups of roughly 8-10 boys -- and we utilize the 'patrol method' to enable leadership opportunities for our scouts across their experiences.  A deep and experienced group of ADULT LEADERS provide guidance, mentorship and facilitation for activities, while reinforcing the leadership and scouting principles that will shape our scouts as they grow from boys to men.

Troop 310 provides both a learning and hands-on environment for progressing thru the boy scout ranks.  Motivated scouts will have a strong support system to reach whatever rank they choose, with many of our scouts attaining Eagle scout, the highest rank in Boy Scouting.

Troop 310 also offers a High Adventure Team (HAT) opportunity for scouts 14 years old -- ensuring that scouts have the next level of adventure awaiting them as they progress thru the boy scout ranks.  The HAT team has organized activities such as white water rafting, skiing and 50-mile hikes.

There are over 120 Merit Badges to expose you to cool and interesting things.

If this sounds like something you'd be interested in joining, we'd love to have you visit us for a night or two and see how things go. There's always room for 1 more!
